Industrial goth fused with powerful vocals and gritty electronics

Zeitgeist Zero is an independent Leeds based band that has toured throughout the UK and Europe. Their sound is a combination of heavy guitars and industrial electronics and their unique music and dark style have received favourable press coverage, including BBC Radio 6, Sonic Seducer and Devolution. The band has built up a loyal following leading to festival appearances at Wave Gotik Treffen, Infest and Whitby Goth Weekend.

The band has worked with top music producers Steve Whitfield (The Cure), John Fryer (NIN) and John Rivers (The Specials). Their three albums and EP have met with international critical acclaim. ‘Dead To The World’ and ‘The Blackout’ were both voted “Album of the Month” by popular German music magazine Dark Spy. Their latest album Ghosts of Victory was mixed by legendary producer Steve Whitfield (The Cure). Zeitgeist Zero were recently invited to play alongside Peter Hook and The Light at Infest Festival’s 20th anniversary on their Best Of British night and headlined Goth City Festival in 2021.

In 2022 the band are planning to release their 4th album along with several video singles and are currently planning a UK tour.

Parisian Lead singer Nina Courson met British guitarist Phil Honey-Jones in 2009 in the venue Punk in Soho, London both of them were gigging in separate bands at the time. The shared influences of the likes of Iggy Pop, Nirvana, Blondie, Killing Joke, Sonic Youth, Bauhaus and Bowie brought them together and has played a big part in the direction of the music they make. Inspiration has come from far and wide and lyrically the lines between autobiographical and fiction are blurred and merged. Healthy Junkies hit the road in 2010 playing as many gigs as possible in order to hone their performance and forge their own sound. Playing alongside so many great punk bands like The UK Subs, GBH, Theatre of hate and The Rezillos has also undoubtedly influenced the material giving some of the new songs a previously unfound edge. They have 3 albums out to date, 2 of them on STP records and are looking to get back into the studio soon to record a fourth with drummer Tony T and D-Day the bass player who have completed what is undoubtedly the best line-up HJ have had.
Think Siouxsie Sioux meets Blondie meets Sonic Youth down a dirty, dark alley and you’ll have some idea of what HJ are about.

Last July are a UK based Dark Romantic band with a sound derived from a wide breadth of influences including Goth, New Romantic and Rock. Not inclined to restrict themselves to conforming within the boundaries of established dark genres, they blend dark atmospheres, catchy synths and driving guitars with passionate melodic vocals, moving between cold and calculating precision and organic grace. Our songs span the breadths of emotion from deep sorrow to upbeat optimism, and we guarantee you will be singing them to yourself for days afterwards!

Newly awakened from an eighteen month-long dormancy, Last July have stripped back down to their founder members, and are swiftly picking up their former pace!
