| 16th-18th July 2010 | DV8Fest is the UK's newest goth festival, created to celebrate all the best elemens of the alternative scene, showcasing talents from Goth and Industrial, to Post-Punk, Rockabilly and Deathrock in a 4 day event in the beuatiful and historic City of York. With 4 stages across 3 of York's premier live music venues, The Duchess, Fibbers, and The Basement, DV8Fest has themed live music nights at each venue on Friday and Saturday, giving you the flexibility to choose exactly the type of festival for you. In addition to this there are market stalls in two of York's beautiful medieval halls, to tempt you during the days, and clubnights from Thursday to Sunday, where the UK's best alternative DJs will tease you through the nights. We are not just going to bring you the best bands, but also some of the country's most beautiful burlesque and bizarre sideshow peformers to tantalise and amaze you. Away from the festival you will also get the opportunity to enjoy all that York has to offer, whether it be shopping on it's historic streets, enjoying a drink in one of it's many friendly pubs, or just relaxing in the Abbey and Museum Gardens. There will be fringe evnts and meet ups and we discounted entry to many tourist attractions.
